It can be temporarily overcome by doping, but perhaps while the car is in the comparatively new stage, I think it recurs too often. I am wondering if the period the car is at the Coachbuilders accounts for the trouble showing up during new test. If so, I would recommend that clutches be doped with a small amount of oil and paraffin prior to dispatch. Another point is that I think some sort of lubrication scheme might be considered for the clutch toggle lever bearings. I have had one or two mysterious cases of late, and I suspect these are sticking up or seizing up as the result of lack of lubrication, and transmitted heat from the clutch. Ps. | ||
