OVER-OILING.
-----------

We are informed by Repair Dept. that you wish us to supply you with a list of cars which are likely to be troubled with over-oiling.

At this juncture it is extremely difficult for anyone at Derby to make a list of cars which is likely to be tolerably accurate in regard to this particular fault occurring. It may occur for two or three different reasons, and therefore it would appear at the moment that we should at least await the results of the three particular cases which we are dealing with outside, in order to obtain some definite information upon which we can base any recommendations as to how a car can be dealt with, and which cars are likely to be at fault.

Any list of cars produced at the moment is likely to be purely a guess in the dark. The information we hope to obtain from the cars of which we have complaints at the moment would enable us to handle the matter intelligently and give an estimate which would be reasonably accurate as a forecast.
