Perfecta Motor Equipment, Excelsior Works, OXFORD Street, BIRMINGHAM, 5. For the attention of Mr Bach. Dear Sirs, We thank you for the sample screen regulators and channel sections. Regarding the latter, we find that you have not sent us a section with the strengthening lip on the inside of the channel. It will be necessary for us to have this, as we shall be using a centre regulator and laminated Triplex glass. As you are undoubtedly aware, the screen channel without the reinforcing lip, is not stiff enough to prevent the glass cracking when a centre screen control is used. The rolled section which you have sent, is probably stiff enough, but we do not consider that this type would be suitable for the car which we have in mind. If you could send us a sample or samples with the reinforcement we should be obliged; what we would like to have is one preferably with a rib form in the face channel. Yours faithfully, | ||
