re BODY FOR E.A.C.VIII.

We thank you for your C/Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}19/ED{J. L. Edwards}1/21.1.26 and the enclosed prints of the bodies which are available.

We are sorry to say that the Hooper one willnot do for us firstly because it is not the type of body which Mr Royce likes and secondly, when the body is put on the E.A.C.VIII. chassis the wheel would foul the screen.

As this matter is urgent the writer will come up to London early next week and call on Messrs Barkers with a view to seeing what the bodies look like and arranging the ways and means of modifying them to suit the chassis.

It is essential that the body shall be a reasonably good job, for cars going to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence are severely commented upon. A poor example might live to plague us for years.

The writer will wire you during the weekend when he will arrive.
