The only exceptions to the above arrangement are:- Firstly, that the Test Department may refuse to pass a car or engine and the Works Manager cannot overrule this objection. Secondly, that the Repair Department may refuse to allow a car to be re-issued to its owner on account of quality being insufficiently high and the Works Manager cannot overrule this objection. These two departments in these respects are directly responsible to the Managing Director. Thirdly, that Mr. Bailey may refuse to make an alteration in a dimension unless it is approved by the designer. CJ. | ||
