We have checked our Experimental Phantom III cars and find we have never experienced any trouble with the prop shaft fouling the pot. With a buffer clearance of 4.4375" we have 6.500" clearance between the universal joint and the cover. Even if we allow 1" for a possible buffer compression or max bump we should still have 1" clearance. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} | ||
