37-EX.

We give below a list of the faults found in mounting the body to the above chassis.

(1) Both rear body valances fouled the step irons
(2) Scuttle pillar had not been cut away for adjusting rubbers.
(3) No drain pipe for centre bonnet hinge.
(4) Steel body cross member had to be moved backwards to clear R.R. floorboards.
(5) No scuttle side stays fitted.
(6) Division built over centre body bracket 2 bolts each side.
(7) Inner door to luggage boot had to be cut away at the corner, also the floor and side of the boot, to clear petrol filler connection, and large cover made to suit.
(8) Rear blind was a failure from the start, wire cable inside the body on pulleys, impossible to operate.
(9) Windscreen wiper drive on wrong side.
(10) The narrow body sides have already been commented upon.
(11) The scuttle is too flexible, especially with the de Ville extension folded back.
