Park Ward & Co., 473, High Road, Willesden, London, N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Long Wheelbase Phantom III, Enclosed Limousine 38-Ex. We send herewith a print of LeC.5211 showing the 2 ins. wider dashboard and bonnet which it is proposed to fit to the above chassis. This information will enable you to proceed with the coachwork. We confirm also that it is now agreed to fit this chassis with 'E' type steering, a dropping division and a sunshine roof. We wish you to move backwards the minimum amount possible to accommodate the lower angle of steering and to take the whole of this loss of space from the knee room of the extra seats, so leaving the accommodation for the rear seat the same as that which would be obtained for 'C' steering. Yours faithfully, For and on behalf of ROLLS-ROYCE LTD., Design Dept. Att: LeC.5211. | ||
