13) Front rubber buffers cut to pieces through hitting sharp edge of stop.

14) The white metal linings have picked up slightly. Flakes of white metal were found floating in the oil. On one Damper the high & low pressure valves were sticking, owing to white metal flakes having got into the sleeve. The steel sleeves were in a good condition. The Road springs are in a good condition.

15) The bottom needle bearing of the yoke is not satisfactory. The roller needles are not revolving, and have pressed into the outer bushing.

16) The top triangular stay lever inside the spring box, the shields are very tight. In this case, it would appear that the needle bearing is not satisfactory.

FRONT SUSPENSION.

17) Bad oil leak from 'perfect' oil seal glands of top anchorage of pivot yoke.

18) No oil getting to cross steering tube spherical joints of steering arm.

19) Insufficient supply of oil to steering pivots and steering arms.

20) Springs fouled on inner sides of spring pots, causing a grunting noise.

STEERING.

21) Oil leaking out of box into bijur pipe line.

GEAR BOX.

22) Noisy continuous Gears. Bad loss of oil from box. Synchromesh of 3rd & top gears have not functioned correctly.

23) Floating bush of 1st & 3rd motion shaft seized.

24) 2nd motion shaft floating bushes seized. No oil supply.

CLUTCH.

25) Slipped very bad, smothered in oil from rear Engine bearing. Clutch spiggot shaft not getting any lubrication, was found rusty on serrations & Bearing length. Trunion ball race became dry and noisy.

REAR DAMPERS.

26) No lubrication to link spherical joints, became worn and chattered, link tubes too thin, bent & dinted by stones. Coiled springs for retaining dust shields became unwound & lost. Dust shields eaten away by stones and grit.
