With reference to your memo' EFC6/T.9.1.25, from which we note you cannot find anything wrong with the magneto returned from the above chassis, we think in view of the customer's complaint that it would be advisable to have this magneto fitted to one of the experimental cars, in order to give it a thorough trial.

We overlooked the fact that when we originally sent the magneto to you it had already been tested by Mr. Ellis, and he reported that the sparking was intermittent, and suspected it was due to a breakdown in the secondary winding.

Will you kindly send up for the magneto in question.
