[underlined]RE CHASSIS 18-MC (Modified Steering)[/underlined]

With reference to your memo Whr{Mr Wheeler}11/FP{F. Potts}/16926 , we have changed the steering on this car to .940 worm and nut and have fitted the 1500 lbs.springs.

I am sorry to say the steering is still [strikethrough]unpleasant[/strikethrough] [handwritten]though unimproved.[/handwritten]

I got quite satisfactory results with 1000 lbs.springs but these all broke with the new steering, and I have had to go back to the 1500 lbs.type. If I were a customer I should not be satisfied.

Ps.
