c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4226 EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn5/H30.1.24. re. 20-HP Faulty Valve Springs. With further reference to our EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}2/H14.1.24 and EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}1/H28.1.24, we are sending you a further valve spring which has broken on a car on test, No.792. This is now the fourth spring we have had broken on test, which breakage is fairly close on the top of previous breakages, and it would appear that we have come on to a bad batch of springs. EP{G.
