X4117 ZH.11/HT12.9.31. S/W. from F.H. Copy to [REDACTED] A.{Mr Adams} Wuhlankorn. 142-XI. I note from your LH{Mr Haworth}/SWS/KH 9.9.31 that you propose, when fitting the low-rating springs to the rear of this car, and the latest type of R.R. hydraulic shock absorber all over, to retain the Hartfords which are at present fitted to the back. This, we agree, is a good plan because we must know this owner well, and will get him to take intelligent interest in deciding whether his comfort can be increased or otherwise by making use of the additional damping which the Hartfords, now fitted at the rear, will make available. Will you advise us when the springs, shock absorbers, etc are sent to N. in order that we can arrange with the owner for his car to be sent there. FH. [STAMP: RECEIVED 1931 SEP] | ||
