20-G4 EXHAUST SYSTEM.

As this car will in all probability be wanted by R.{Sir Henry Royce} for the south of France in the second week in December, we attach particulars of the exhaust system required for it. This system is being detailed and instructed by the D.O., but you may possibly like to start on it now.

With regard to item (3) this is already issued, it is a fairly simple pattern, which should not take long to make, and it is suggested that it may be quicker to get it cast 'out' rather than wait for our casting day.

In addition to 20-G4 we are anxious to send to GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} for 19-G4, a manifold, downtake pipe, front expansion box, and intermediate pipe of similar type, but which will be adaptable to the existing rear silencer on 19-G4. As 19-G4. will be back in Derby by Xmas it is not much use sending these parts out later than the second week in December so that the urgency for these is equal to 20-G4.
