Attention of Mr. C. Ward

Dear Sirs,

Re B.5. Bonnets

We thank you for your letter of the 5th instant addressed to Mr. Robotham, re the B.5. Bonnet Production Costs.

Unfortunately we do not think it gives us quite the detail costs we require. What we need is the following: -

1, Cost of making and building up the complete bonnet and fittings ready to drop on a car. The fact that we supply hinges and catches does not matter as we can add the figures for these.

2, The cost of mounting and fitting a bonnet to a car. This is needed to enable us to calculate a figure for the cost of a complete Standardised Saloon.

We apologize for troubling you again, but we would be very glad to receive this information as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

Chassis Design Office.
