To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} K200a (PH) Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}12/KW.25.6.36. 6-B-IV. This car must go to France with an anti-judder scheme on the front axle. The only satisfactory scheme we have now is Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}106. Will you please fit this axle to 6-B-IV, complete with Ex. aluminium drums. Will you please transfer the cross steering tube and levers off the 14" drums now on 6-B-IV to this Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}106 axle, which is now in the garage. Will you please re-line the brakes with Ferodo S.5805. The tipping shoes should be set solid. The full length of lining should be used. Will you please fit a leather stocking to cover the sliding joint between toggle shaft lever and normal actuating lever, and pack same with grease. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/A.F.Martindale. | ||
