Re: Mr. C.R.Fairey's "PHANTOM II" 34-GN.
Mr. Fairey proposes to send his car in for attention about the 25th of this month. Some time ago he hit a manhole on the road and buckled a near side wheel, and although the car has since satisfactorily completed about 500 miles, he wants to make sure that the axle is O.K. He would also like the engine tuned, so I would like to know whether Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} would prefer the car to go to his department as he may wish to keep in touch with the "bits" which have been fitted to this chassis before.
