Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Levallois Sr/VA6/ET.27.I.38 1245 Re: CHASSIS B.35.KU - PARIS TRIALS CAR --------------------------------------- With reference to the crankshaft which we removed from the above chassis and on which we have since had the main journals re-ground to .010" u/s and the shaft re-nitrided by Messrs. Aubert & Duval, the above firm have informed us that, after re-nitriding, the hardness of the case was 650 Vickers/Brinell. We spoke about the above with GWH.{George W.
