RR 238.(150 BKS.)(SHS7.29-6-20.) MP 224359 X. 8014 & V4117D ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To EFC Order No. AC.14. Customer's No. X 6 May 1924 Lucas Dynamo R.205 from Chassis This machine is reported to have run 9570 miles, and to have been cleaned once or twice during that time. It has been mounted on the engine and positively driven. On inspection there was found to be much brush dust under the end-cover and there were high resistance leakages to earth at the terminals "2" and "3", all brush-holders and windings being O.K. The tops of the brushes were all about level with the tops of the holders, except the inner positive brush, which was about .25" below. The main brush surfaces were fairly smooth and the control brushes were moderately polished. (Cont-d) Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
