Dear Sirs, Re Cold Chamber for Engine Testing. We thank you for your letter dated the 23rd. With regard to the plant at Messrs. Joseph Lucas, you will appreciate that we have recently installed a further plant for these people for very low temperatures, but in this case and in the first plant, at no time does the duty involve the cooling of a running engine. The duty of theplant is to maintain a temperature down to minus 15° F. {Mr Friese} in a heavily insulated chamber, which is designed to take the largest vehicle. The vehicle enters the chamber under its own power, the water is run off from the radiator and the vehicle stands in the chamber | ||
