Re. Jackalls - Phantom 111

Dear Sirs,

Further to our letter of yesterday, we have to-day removed the tyre and raised and lowered the car half-a-dozen times, and find that there is a lateral movement of, not more than, 1/8". This is rather surprising in view of the angle of the jack, when the rim of the wheel is on the ground.

There is 3 1/4" ground clearance on the jack when at rest, with the wheel rim on the ground, which is 3/8" more than the snubber plate front fixing bolts.

We await with interest your further comments, and assuring you always of our very best attention;

We beg to remain,

Yours faithfully,
pp. S. Smith & Sons (Motor Accessories) Ltd.
