Re: Petrol Gauge with Warning Light.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. West.

We thank you for your letter of yesterdays date, and regret to note that the first sample is not giving very satisfactory results, and anxiously await your further report concerning the irregularity. With regard to the second sample this will be of the aero type as arranged. We are doing everything possible to get this sample through to you with the least possible delay, we are afraid however, that the Castings will not be ready until immediately before the holidays so that it will not be possible to let you have this sample until the week commencing August 13th.

We shall be glad if you will kindly let us know the approximate quantity of Petrol you require to be in the tank when the Warning Light contacts are closed, which will of course be adjustable. We would however, suggest that the quantity is kept as low as possible, otherwise there may be a tendency to restrict the movement of the contact arm.

Assuring you of our keen attention at all times.

Yours faithfully,
for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.

H.S.Russell
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER.

TO AVOID DELAY ALL ENVELOPES SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO THE FIRM.
