Further to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/KW.6.4.36, will you please note that owing to the increased size of oil tank some modification will be required to the stays which hold the instrument board on E.R. Hall's car. We are proposing to transfer the dashboard supports as fitted to B-35-AE to his 4 1/4 litre chassis. Will you please prepare another set of dashboard stays similar to those fitted to B-35-AE, but with the stay modified on the near side to accommodate the larger oil tank. Oil Filler. The oil filler has to be sealed. In order to do this it is most inconvenient to open the bonnet, and for this reason we want to produce a casting which brings the filler to the hole in the existing bonnet on B-35-AE. This means that the fillerwould be easily accessible from outside the car. Will you please look into this. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
