HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} X4613 HO12/EBN26.10.27 SCUTTLE ISOLATION Regarding memo. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/2.10.27 of which we had a copy, together with blue print N.Sch.2470 "Scuttle Isolation Damper 10-G-3" - Will you please note that one of the Sales Dept. cars 70-EF (Open Trials car) is proceeding to the Works within a day or two, and we have written to them to say that Mr. Cowen approves of the dash and scuttle damping device being fitted to this car, and that we hope the parts are ready, or will very soon be ready, for fitting on it, Com. Briggs having confirmed that this will be a suitable car to try the device on. We have not sent a design for a Phantom with flat dash, but we hope you will be able to fit this car up experimentally, so as to get the Sales interested. We can send you a scheme later.
