x4522 To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 4/KW. 8.12.34. Bentley Starting Handle. Replying to E.2/HP.7.12.34. We arranged the bumper bar on Mr. Fairey's car so that there was room to rotate the starting handle. On the bumper we are putting forward as a model for fitting to Bentley cars, we are going forward with it 1/2" as schemed by Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} I think if the tray by the dropped front cross member can be lipped back to give a little more clearance, there ought to be sufficient room with this modification. However, we shall have a model next week. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
