Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} LID{A. J. Lidsey} 132b E.7/HP.6.10.33. re Tools on Bentley. We are getting EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} to look into the question of arranging the Bentley tools under the bonnet. It is obvious that this car, more than any, requires a scheme of this nature. The various Coachbuilders concerned in producing the first 15 have all had their own schemes for locating the tools in this way with varying degrees of satisfaction. It will be necessary to fix these tools so that they will not rattle but are easily detachable, and if possible all on one side of the bonnet, preferably the nearside of the chassis.
