November 6th.1914.

To Whom it may concern.

Charles Bowen has been in our employ from December 1911 to August 1914. The reason of his leaving was due to the dislocation of trade in connection with the European War. He was a good, careful and skilful driver and also a good mechanic and time keeper. His conduct whilst in our employ was very good and he can be trusted to undertake adequately responsible work without supervision. He has had a large amount of experience in testing cars and also was employed by us helping to carry out a large amount of experimental work.
