-2-

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. 4th December, 1933.

4. The shaft extension tube to be rivetted to the Jack-screw spindle in such a manner as to make the rivet heads unobtrusive and of good appearance.

5. The shaft to be increased by 1.1/2" in length to enable the handle to be used more freely without contact with the tyre.

6. All parts of the Jack to be Parkerized in the same manner as those supplied for the 40/50 Chassis.

We will, of course, adhere to the above stipulations in the event of being favoured with a contract order for these Jacks suitable for the 20/25 h.p. car.

We trust, however, that you will realise, more particularly after the writer's recent conversation with you, that the latest Mark II Jacks are, in a great many respects, very superior to those which you tested some time ago and found satisfactory.

To obviate the necessity of producing entirely new dies for the casing, would you permit us to use the thinner gauge steel, provided we sufficiently stiffened this by means of the modified lipping ?

Assuring you of our best attention,

We are,

Yours faithfully,

For DONALD SESSIONS & COMPANY LIMITED.

Donald Sessions
Managing Director.
