Dear Sirs, With regard to the sample Mark III Jack which the writer left at your Works on Friday last, we are anxious to put this Jack in production for the 40/50 Chassis at the earliest possible moment and shall be very pleased to hear from you at your earliest convenience if we may proceed with this model, which we consider to be an improvement on those we have supplied in the past. Incidentally, this Jack can be produced at almost a moments notice and it will not be necessary to wait for the passing of the two-speed handle to bring these Jacks into service, as we can put a 9/1 gear into the single speed handle we are now supplying, until such time as the two-speed handle is required. As the writer mentioned, we are working on another new design Jack for the 40/50 Chassis which will give extra range and will be more convenient to attach to the axles, but if you are likely to make any radical change in the 40/50 rear axles in the near future, we shall be glad to know of this before going too far with our designs. We understand the two-speed handle is now being tested out at Lillie Hall and await with interest your views and recommendations.
