| To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4265 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}8/LG1 8.9.24. 20 HP. - SIDE STEERING TUBE. We have had frequent complaints of insufficient lubrication of the [strikethrough]spring[/strikethrough] spring control in the side steering tube joint on the 20 HP. There have been frequent complaints of squeaks which have been due to this joint not being properly lubricated. We attach blue print LF.469. We have carried out this scheme on one of the experimental cars and which appears to be satisfactory. We propose sending round a standardisation sheet for this. We should be glad of your comments before doing so. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
