WRAITH II ROLL RODS.

With the introduction of 8" deflection front springs a front roll rod is necessary. As on B.III, it may be necessary to retain the rear roll rod; but the two rods together make the car unnecessarily stiff against roll.

Will you please detail and instruct two pairs of rods similar to Fw.873 and Fw.1509 only .650" dia. each instead of .750" dia. and .737" dia. respectively. This will nearly halve the roll rate

At the same time will you please modify the front roll rod Fw.1509 to conform to the B.III and W.80 rods, i.e. the ends need not be detachable. The form of these new rods is shown on FCD.802 or FCD.767. The front rod need not be made in S/SLH but can be made in S/W. {Sales / Derby Works} The stress in the thinner rod is lower.
