CHASSIS NO.B.116.JD.{J. Draper - Frames} AMMETER FAILURE.

Owner - F.A. Oates.

We have examined the defective Ammeter which was taken from this Chassis and the failure was definitely due to faulty internal connections inside the instrument. It was noticed that the small terminal screws were not tightened down on to the wire ends of the series coil, and apparently the hole had not been drilled and tapped deep enough.

Arrangements have been made for the Western Ammeter Co's. Representative to visit our Works on this matter, when he will be interviewed by RC{R. Childs}/MD.

RRC/J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Smedley.
