There will be a meeting at 8.30.a.m. on Monday morning in my office to discuss car work in general. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Keep On We have had considerable argument as to how the 'Autocar' measure their breaking figures. As I have previously pointed out I have never measured anything greater than 2 1/2 ft. per second squared using an accurate measuring instrument which discounted the speedometer and the driver's reaction. Will you please write to the Autocar and find out how they make their tests, and, at the same time, could you think of some simple operation such as a brush of whitewash on the road which would cut out the human element.
