Re Automatic Lubrication of Clutch Face. X. 354 6

Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} 13-1-14.

The following is an extract from Mr Royce's memo R3/P2114 :-

"With reference to the clutch on 2301, this "has not been working particularly well, "being harsh. It was quite all right on "several occasions when sufficient oil was "put in. This would appear as if an "increase in the efficiency of the oil retain- "ing, such as we used to have, would be highly "desirable for this fabric lined clutch, "which appears at present to lose the oil "rapidly".

We shall be glad to know if you can issue a report on this point, making a special test if you think necessary.
