Cricklewood have had a recurrent complaint of Clutch jagger with the lead bronze type facing. This has been cured by the fitting of a new bronze bush bearing in the clutch plate housing.

A fabric plate clutch of the same type has also been cured. In both cases it was noticed that there was considerable slackness in this bearing, which would allow chattering to take place.

The results after fitting the new bush were so pronounced that any further complaints will be dealt with by this method.
