COPY. NOTE OF MEETING IN MR. A.G. GIBSON'S OFFICE TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8th. 1940. Present : Mr. Cimson. Mr. Robotham. } Rolls Royce Mr. Smith. Mr. Gardner. Mr. H.P.Finn. Admiralty Contract for 525 in number 40 mm. Gun. Rolls Royce to supply material to make the first 50 guns. Rolls Royce will invoice to us separately the following :- a.{Mr Adams} Raw material for the first 50 guns. b. Fabricated parts for the first 50 guns. c. Cost of assembling as many guns as in fact Rolls Royce do assemble on our behalf. d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Cost of patterns, jigs, tools and die blocks. e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Their charges for modifications in the gun to meet Admiralty requirements and other expenditure incurred in connection with finalising a prototype gun. Consideration to be given by Rolls Royce as to whether they should make any charge for drawings, instruction books, etc., and if so, on what basis. Any such charge which they may decide to make will be separately invoiced. On matters of detail Rolls Royce will keep in touch with us so that the various costing questions which arise may be dealt with smoothly in the interest of both parties. NKL/EPF/HM{Capt. W.
