Condition report on the Dynamo Drive, Oil Pump, Water Pump, and Oil Relief Valve.

Dynamo Drive.

Complete to LOP. EW.904, incorporating :-

Ex.27042 Driving Gear in S/ZNX unhardened.

The general condition of this unit, including the soft Pinion is satisfactory.

Oil Pump.

Complete to LOP.973.

Restriction Disc on suction side of pump deleted as per Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}'s instructions.

Condition of Cover, Casing and Gears generally good.

Water Pump.

Complete to LOP. EW.907, incorporating :-

"Klingerite" Washers at Water Pump Bend.

"Palmetto" Gland Packings.

Condition of Bearing and Rotor Pump Spindle good.
An increase of .010 in the end play of the Rotor Shaft due to wear on the Thrust Block in BZ/PC material was noted.
General condition satisfactory.

Oil Relief Valve.

Produced in accordance with LOP.EW.992, incorporating the following :-

E.88790 High Pressure Spring.

Ex.28174 Low Pressure Spring.

These springs were fitted to give the required oil pressure as per Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}'s instructions; this unit is in good condition.
