Here is a brief summary of experiments we propose to carry out on power development of the Bentley car.

The speeds which we are interested in are 4000 and 4500 r.p.m. In these tests we expect to hold 4250 r.p.m. for three minutes and the 4500 reading for 1/2 minute.

(1) Latest Bentley unit. Test black <del>boxx</del> <ins>green</ins> exhaust system and C.O. (see R.H.C.)
(2) High compression head with new camshaft.
(3) Ignition top off black car on test bed unit.
(4) C.13 goes into shop for repair.
(5) Push rods. Is valve gear deflecting.
(6) Pistons. Mech. efficiency.
(7) Ignition.
(8) Large inlets. 30° seats.
(9) Valve springs. Double.
(10) What we lose through not wangling, mixture and ignition. What we get with R.R. needles set for slow running and what we get when the mixture is corrected at top speeds.
(11) Complete plug tests.
(12) Tappet clearances with long duration shaft.
(13) C.13 cyl. head compared with existing KB.222.
(14) True value of balance pieces in the induction pipe at 4500 r.p.m.
