could not be ascertained upon whom the responsibility rested.

To date this is the only occasion on which we have been able to assist at the rectification of a gauge that has actually given trouble after a car had been delivered to a customer, and we merely quote it as one that has come under our particular notice.

It is certainly unfortunate that the Prince of Wales's car should have given trouble, and you may rest assured that immediately we received the dash unit we will carefully examine it, and see whether the breakdown was caused by gauge failure, or some other factor has caused the trouble on this occasion.

Assuring you at all times of our best attention,

Yours faithfully,

H.M. HOBSON, Ltd.,
F.P. Searight
Joint Managing Director.
