Dear Sir, The Writer understands from one of our salesmen, Mr. Cuthbert, that you had a trial run on the 16-Cylinder CADILLAC. We did not, of course, know when we sent the car round to Messrs. Barker's that it was going to be tried by a member of Rolls-Royce, as the car in question was certainly not the one we should have sent, it being a brand new model out of the Showrooms, fitted with a very heavy body by Fleetwood. The undersigned will be taking delivery of his Sports model in about ten days time and should you care to see this and have a trial we shall be happy to arrange for you to do so. We naturally do not think you are likely to purchase one but on the principle adopted by American manufacturers of inter-change of ideas, we are only too pleased to place it at your disposal. The Chassis price is £1500. and the speed obtainable on any standard models is about 100 miles per hour, with a reasonable weight body.
