This belt was put on 6.G.II & behaved very well for 654 miles, practically no stretching taking place during that period. This Car however was run on the road wheel dynamometer, & whilst 3,000 R.P.M. was being performed, the belt snapped. It was noticeable that more heat than usual had developed, the belt being too hot to hold in the hand, although adjusted up to correct tightness.
