With regard to the parts which are lagged, which may have to be made later in Staybrite, we should only order a total of 15 + 50 = 65 in all, for the present, but when the Works reach the end of this quantity we must immediately release more mild steel parts if the Staybrite has not by then been standardised.

(5). Radiator.
200 sets as for the first 65.

(6). Shutters.
200 sets as for the first 65.

(7). Bonnet.
200 sets can be released, but we must make sure that the top plates are turned down vertically for stiffness where they rivet to the hinge, and the louvres are to be of two lengths only instead of the small louvre graduating up to the longer type.

(8). Universal Joint.
The needle bearing type.

(9). Rear Axle.
This has been released generally, but we should instruct 10 set of 11/43 ratio bevels to be produced, as they would be required for certain of the cars.

(10). Instrument Board.
This has been released already, and should not be on the list.

(11). Starter Motor - RR: Armature.
We are to carry on with the 200 sets like the first 100 i.e. without the extra friction discs, as these have not been tested, but provision will be made on all castings, so that the longer armature could be fitted. This has already been provided for in our previous note.

(12). Petrol Pump.
This is released, being in the hands of the S.U. Company. We on our part are instructing the Works to produce the moulded end which carries the fuse.
