HEATING OF FRONT SEATS Cont.

81st Meeting, Re New Type of Ventilator on Dash.
November 22nd, 1911.
The Committee were informed that these were now being
manufactured, but Mr. Spinney had in view a slight
alteration to the stop of this part, suggested by Mr. Royce.
Mr. Nadin informed the Committee that he had replied
to Mr. Matthews, and that the matter was now closed.

88th Meeting, Re Gas tight floor boards.
Nov. 24th, 1911.
Mr. Barrington informed the Committee that Mr. Spinney
was of the opinion, formed in a conversation with Mr. Oldham,
that a separate drawing should be made embodying this and
other points concerning the body builders, and that
Mr. Spinney is now proceeding with this work.

89th Meeting, Ventilators.
Nov. 29th, 1911.
Mr. Barrington submitted an extract from the "Motor"
of November 14th, showing a special form of ventilator
fitted to the scuttle of a Delaunay Belleville. The
Committee agreed that this form of ventilator would
probably be very efficient, but that it could not be
adopted to any car, except those having the scuttle dash
formed in the manner shown on this particular chassis.
Mr. Spinney suggested that the best scheme would be to
leave a gap between a special body dash and the chassis
dash in a similar manner to that shown on the Napier
chassis at Olympia. Such a gap should be on the outside
of the bonnet and capable of being closed be shutters.
