Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,

For the attention of Mr. Matthews.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation of yesterday, we have pleasure in advising you that we are preparing to strip our 4-cylinder C.I. experimental engine during the weekend, and we will have the aluminium alloy big end bearings opened up for inspection during the morning of Monday, the 27th inst.

We should be pleased to let you carry out an inspection of these bearings, and if you will kindly advise us of the time when you expect to arrive at Guildford station we will have a car there to meet you.

Yours faithfully,
