To. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} C. EFC. 17660 BY/RD1/N.26.4.29. SS.{S. Smith} CHASSIS DYNAMOS. Further to our BY/RD4/N.24.4.29 and EFC4/T. 25.4.29. the position as I see it therefore is as follows:- (a) The dynamo for 21-EX should have a new armature complete to LOP D.71653 slotted and wound to D.71998 and D.71999. The commutator end bearing bracket should be re-drilled to D.72010 that then brings that machine absolutely into line with our production instructions. (b) For the remaining SS.{S. Smith} chassis the machines should be left as they are for the time being and when we have the intermediate output armatures ready, we will send further instructions to you for changing these machines over. The foregoing therefore cancels the necessity for producing new armatures to our Part List D.72044/71653 which was suggested to you in BY/RD4/N.24.4.29. BY/RD | ||
