X.2641 EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}23/F20.12.20. By From HP [crossed out] c. to EFC. 89c cc. to H.J. [crossed out] c. to Ps. [crossed out] X. 2641. EARTHING OF PRESS BUTTON STARTER SWITCH. We still continue to have trouble with the above, even though we have altered the wiring so as to change the polarity of the connections. The fault exists in so far as if the main positive fuse blows & the press button switch is earthed, the Klaxon still continues to work, and it is also a fact that when the Klaxon press button is pressed, the engine starter works. The same thing applies when the battery ignition is used. We therefore again bring forward the importance of better insulation for the press button switch. The Ohmoline used does not seem satisfactory, and if soft is easily penetrated, or if hard, chips off. Could not the whole cover of this case be insulated? [Stamp Text] MADE AT CROXLEY EP.{G.
