Dear Sirs,

In further reference to the Covers we are designing for your Brake Adjustment mechanism and sketch SK/104/33 which we sent you, we now have got over the difficulty of definitely retaining the metal sleeve in position by modifying the Covers as you suggested, by leaving a small rib at each end, also we have arranged for a small bead on either end of the metal sleeve.

Unfortunately this modification has further complicated these moulds, which you will readily realise are in any case most difficult, and we find that the part cost of tools to produce a complete set will be in the region of £15. to £20. Before proceeding any further, we, therefore, beg to suggest that you could help us in this direction. Your confirmation at your convenience will greatly oblige.

Yours faithfully,
DESMO LIMITED,
