P. 2. TOOLBOXES.

With reference to HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/MJ15131., describing the toolbox under the front seat as proposed by RRAI., we have received through DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} the blueprints.

There is no technical difficulty in providing such a box but we would like Sales to confirm their views which they previously definitely expressed, that the customers of the English Company will not tolerate the removal of the front seat in order to get at his road tools. This box must be very inaccessible being very similar to the battery box. Until Sales tell us that they agree to the road tools being carried in this position we think it is wasting our time to design such a box, but we do suggest that all the tools apart from the road tools, pair of pliers, screw driver, and any fairly useful oddments, should be put into a box as suggested by RRAI. In this box would be such things as gudgeon pin extractor, valve grinding tool, and wheel hub extractor.
