Dear Sir:- X.4275 Re: American Bosch Battery Ignition [STAMPED: COPY] Replying in part to Mr. Royce's memo R2/921.6.21: (1) Further Sets - The American Bosch Co. has quoted us a price of $12.00 each on the three outfits of battery ignition ordered by Derby. This is their regular price for the standard outfit, and only applies to the three experimental sets. Platinum distributor points will be used as on the outfit on 4-EX. Two of these sets will be ready on July 24, and the other about August 15. For regular supplies of these outfits, including platinum distributor points, they quote us $16.00 as the price on which they will accept an order. These outfits include:- (1) Special housing for contact breaker and auto advance. (2) Contact breaker unit. (3) Distributor cap. (4) Rotor. (5) Shaft with auto advance, cam and top washer, arranged to fit our governor spindle. (6) Coil with ballast resistance, standard American Bosch type.
