| 360 844TH N/W. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Smth. Br/G18/G.17-2-37. re. Chassis No. 3-AZ-38. This is one of the cars to which we fitted the G/84808 clutch plate, with VM-20 material. We understand from Mr Crawford at Lillie-Hall that it has not proved satisfactory, and we have replaced the plate with a new G/84810 with G/82591 springs. The plate and the lighter springs removed are being returned to-day, for your attention, in respect of which RC{R. Childs} will be reporting to you direct.
